About community ratings and number information

Community reports: Reports reflect individual experiences and may not be independently verified. Phone numbers can be spoofed or reassigned, so reports do not necessarily identify the current caller. Personal or identifying information is not permitted and may be removed through moderation.

Number allocation: Original number-range allocations do not establish the caller's identity or current provider. Numbers may be ported, and caller ID can be spoofed.

Community ratings: The overall rating is determined by the category selected in the most approved reports. Percentages are calculated from approved reports and rounded to total 100%.

  1. Anonymous Dangerous

I was called unexpectedly from a Wisbeach (01945) number. My phone (Google PIxel 9a) flagged it as suspected spam, but Wisbeach is only about 50 miles North of here, and I don't know how accurate Google's spam detection is, so I cautiously took the call anyway. The caller had a pronounced Indian/Pakistani accent. He must have heard the message on my phone which warns unknown callers that the call is being recorded, because he immediately asked, "Why are you recording the call?" I replied, "Because it says you are a suspected spam caller." He then asked, "But why the fuck are you recording the call?", so I repeated, "Because it says you are a suspected spam ..." at which point he hung up. I've dealt with such nasty pieces of work before when they were harassing my elderly neighbour who had dementia over a period of months, and this call had all their hallmarks (speaking as though they had a right to make demands, swearing when they didn't get their way) so I would consider this call Dangerous.
