I was called by this number, but no message was left. On returning the call, there is a message stating "welcome to energy department, press 1 to speak to an advisor" . I would rate this number as dangerous, as no company name is given. I have had an identical experience with numbers 01594 480790, 01384 982268, even though I am ex directory and belong to the telephone preference service.

I was called unexpectedly from a Wisbeach (01945) number. My phone (Google PIxel 9a) flagged it as suspected spam, but Wisbeach is only about 50 miles North of here, and I don't know how accurate Google's spam detection is, so I cautiously took the call anyway. The caller had a pronounced Indian/Pakistani accent. He must have heard the message on my phone which warns unknown callers that the call is being recorded, because he immediately asked, "Why are you recording the call?" I replied, "Because it says you are a suspected spam caller." He then asked, "But why the fuck are you recording the call?", so I repeated, "Because it says you are a suspected spam ..." at which point he hung up. I've dealt with such nasty pieces of work before when they were harassing my elderly neighbour who had dementia over a period of months, and this call had all their hallmarks (speaking as though they had a right to make demands, swearing when they didn't get their way) so I would consider this call Dangerous.

I was called from this number at 10.41 on 11th April. When I tried to return the call I got the message that my call could not be connected. I am therefore suspicious of the safety of this number.
