07/052025Anonymous - I rang them back and they are part of DWP - I have been expecting a call, and needless to say, missed it.
-
06/052025Anonymous - calling after sending text and voicemail about voluntary NI contributions. NOT DWP!

25/042025Anonymous - I have just had a call from them after receiving a msg from DWP that they would be ringing. Girl took my details and then hung up. I rang the number back and there is a recorded message stating it is the Future Pensions Centre part of DWP - sounds official. Will await further communication from them (if genuine). Still unsure.

23/042025Anonymous - I was expecting a call back from Dept of Work and Pensions. This called came up as Prosper Wealth Management (didn't realise this until after call). Some information given out, but nothing financial. Suggest great caution and probably dangerous.

These calls can be either automated or made by a real person. The caller may ask for personal information, like your banking details, or urge you to transfer money urgently.

Incoming call blocking - block unwanted numbers
Anonymous call rejection - block calls from hidden numbers
Its always best to just hang up on a caller if you suspect that something isn't quite right, check WhosCalled and see if others have reported the number first.
