Called stating they were from Santander Fraud department - informing me a number of high value transactions had just taken place. They had the last 4 digits of my credit card and concerningly knew my name and H/A. I questioned the use of him calling with a mobile phone to which he stated you can check the validity on the app and as soon as he asked me to access my mobile app I hung app and reported this to Santander. There was a high value transaction trying to be taken - card cancelled immediately. I was caught off guard and should have hung up immediately seeing it was a mobile number as banks, police etc will never call. Hang up and call your bank straight away to avoid these nasty lowlife scammers
