Anonymous - Garth (Barnet) I had calls from this number in the past to my ex d home phone, always being a barely audible recorded message, claiming to be from a parcel delivery service, text call service, internet provider, and asking that I call a separate number to retrieve unspecified information on an unspecified issue. Today, I have received seven calls since 01:20 Hrs !!! In the absence of any information to the contrary I can only conclude that this is some kind of scam. As a result of the previous bombardment of calls I made a formal complaint to Ofcom and was informed that these types of unsolicited automated "marketing" call are now illegal. Yet the problem persists?

anon - About 1005hrs on 8/6/26, the unexpected incoming call to my ex-D home landline showed 03333-443400, a number I did not recognise. I did not answer, and no message was left on the voicemail. I used another 'phone (number withheld) to call 03333-443400 and heard the following message in a female voice: "Welcome to text to speech provided by AQL. You have no saved messages. If you wish to change the hours during which you receive...." A websearch showed AQL to be a legitimate telecoms company, which MAY be involved in the use of the number which called. In the absence of an informative and checkable voicemail message, I consider the number to be DANGEROUS.

Jim S - Has called me every 15 minutes for the past hour. When I called back, it just said "you have no voice text messages". I assume they are scammers fishing for live phone numbers to call.
