This is a home appliance insurance scam. Caller wanted to check debit card details to continue cover. We have never taken out cover with home care. I called him out as a scammer and advised him that I knew that this was a vishing call. Caller told me that this call was being recorded, I said record what you like but you are a scammer never the less! I put the phone down and we blocked the number.
Report an issueCalled telling me i needed to pay the last instalment on TV equipment by my visa card, said it had been outstanding for sometime at this address but did use my surname so must have used a free site to access it and he spoke well and was English. As we do not take any insurance or extra warranty on anything he became very rude so told him to get a proper job and stop scamming honest working folk.
