This caller number rang me two times. Once yesterday and today. Claimed to be from eon regarding smart meter exchange. The female caller some reason did know my address and call me by my first name...hmm. I am starting to investigate and making enquires with eon. BE AWARE AND CAUTION if speaking to this number. Nothing confirmed as legit at present.
Report an issueDid not leave a message so rang back on the landline, told me to call again using a non withheld number, thats not going to happen. So assume scammers from Liverpool….
Report an issueHarassment call claiming to be from EON Next for meter upgrade.
Report an issueThis is harassment, two calls within an hour even though I have already blocked the number.
Report an issueAs above Call said it was from Eon Next, I didn't answer but they left a voice mail. I didn't answer when it rang. Says they will phone back. My supply is with Eon Next but it's via Sainsbury, so don't know if it's legitimate or not. Number isn't a number I can find on Eon Next as the customer ones start 0808
